Grr. Argh. sigh.

I feel like a curmudgeon.

A very, very grumpy curmudgeon who just wants to pack-it-in and give-up.

I’m honestly debating taking down the flickr, the website, the tumblr and all the other assorted portfolios out there.

Why, exactly?

Because, rather than spending the weekend with my wife, my son and my newborn daughter, I’ve spent most of the past 48 hours corresponding with attorneys, drafting DMCA takedown notices (to no avail) and verifying my copyright and image licensing status because some low-life with an anonymous blogger.com account decided to use a high-resolution copy of a photo, I took (and not a particularly great shot, either) to viciously and personally wage a hate speech attack on the model, inviting others to personally contact and harass her, as well.

The sole result is that, now, the harassment is also directed at me.

This has sucked all the joy from my photography — to the point where I don’t even want to look at my photos, let alone let anyone else see them, lest they be further misused.
